Thoughts
This is a special thank you to Margaret; she was not able to attend the funeral but was present in spirit and a constant friend to Wyn and myself throughout. Thanks to her daily messages of concern and my replies I have a valuable record of the last months of Wyn's life.

I have already written Our Story elsewhere on this site. These thoughts are to thank the true friends who stayed the course, supporting us, not just at the beginning and the end but throughout. They know who they are and I have named them in Nuala's tribute, but two in particular from across the Atlantic, could not be present physically once we returned to Eastbourne but were always there on WhatsApp, texts and calls throughout the eight and a half years and, just as crucially now. Thank you so much Luz Marina in Colombia and Fiona in Uruguay.

There is a new wood pigeon that has started coming to the kitchen window every day and looking in when Eve and I are there. I like to think it might be you Dad. I wish I could talk to you tonight. I wish I could savour the time we had together. I wish you could see Eve and how she is growing. I miss you and I still need you around. I love you.
